Sarah Longson is also a former member of the panel of Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, and has extensive experience in bankruptcy law, having represented both secured and unsecured creditors in complex Chapter 11 proceedings and Chapter 7 proceedings.

Sarah Longson is an active member of the Maryland Bar Association, including the Business Law Section of the MSBA. She served as a member of the Business Law Section Council for the Maryland State Bar Association and previously chaired the Creditors’ Rights and Insolvency subcommittee. She was also the Treasurer and Vice-President of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of Maryland. Ms. Longson has served on the Boards of Trustees for numerous nonprofit organizations, and devotes a significant amount of time and resources to community and charitable organizations.
Ms. Longson grew up in the Boston area and is devoted to the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots (and admits to being a bandwagon fan of the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins). She loves sharing fine wines with friends, cooking, and playing golf.
